1. Regular employees and their dependents are eligible for both IPD & OPD treatment, whereas pensioner and their dependents are entitled for IPD treatment only.

2. For IPD planned treatment, admission should be done on the basis of referral of Institute AMA/other nearby ICAR Institute's AMA/CGHS empanelled AMA and on production of valid medical card.

3. In emergency conditions, where immediate medical attention si needed admission should be rendered on production of valid medical card. The hospital is required to issue an emergency certificate in that case.

4. The medical card is issued to the employee, pensioner and their dependents on the basis of their present family declaration only. All are requested to review the matter periodically and in case of revision in family/change of dependence on govt. servant, the medical card needs to be submitted to the issuing authority immediately, failing of which the govt. service is liable to come under disciplinary action.
